Join us for the 33rd Annual KW Food Drive, a chance to give back to Austin and put yourself in front of the neighborhoods you serve.
The KW Food Drive isn't just about donations, it's one of the best lead generation opportunities of the year. Door-to-door drives put you face-to-face with homeowners in your farm area, giving you a natural, authentic reason to introduce yourself and start building relationships that turn into business.
This is your chance to be seen as the agent who shows up for the community, not just the one who sells it.
And when you bring your donations to Riverbend on November 7, stick around and enjoy delicious coffee from our coffee truck, fresh breakfast tacos, and a few other fun surprises!

HOW TO
THE FOOD DRIVE — HOW DOES IT WORK?
New to the KW Austin Food Drive? It’s simple and there are lots of ways to get involved!
For more than 30 years, KW Austin agents have come together to collect thousands of pounds of non-perishable food for the Central Texas Food Bank while connecting with the communities we serve.
OPTION 1: PICK A STREET
Choose specific streets or neighborhoods you want to connect with. We provide FREE sponsored Food Drive bags AND pre-printed instructions for you.
Then it’s as easy as:
1. DROP
Door knock and leave a Food Drive bag and the instructions we provide with each neighbor.
2. COLLECT
Return on your chosen date to collect their food donations. We recommend collecting close to November 7 or even the morning of so you don’t have to store the donated food for long.
3. DELIVER
Bring everything you collect to our Food Drive collection event on Saturday, November 7 from 9 AM–12 PM at Riverbend Church.
And don’t just drop and run! Hang out with your KW Austin family, enjoy our coffee truck, breakfast tacos and a few other fun surprises as we come together to fill the truck with thousands of pounds of food!
OPTION 2: MAKE IT YOUR OWN
You don’t have to door knock! Get creative.
Host a small fall-themed event, invite your database to bring food donations, organize a neighborhood collection, partner with a local business, or come up with your own way to get people involved.
You collect it. You bring it November 7. We’ll take it from there!
WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?
This isn’t just a food drive. It’s a proven, no-cost way to engage your database, meet people in your community, build relationships AND give back at a time of year when our neighbors need it most.
Whether you collect 10 bags or 100, you can make an impact.
IMPORTANT: REQUEST YOUR FREE BAGS!
If you want sponsored Food Drive bags, you must submit your bag request by September 17.
We cannot guarantee bags for requests received after the deadline, so get your request in early!

WHY DO I NEED TO SUBMIT MY STREETS & REQUEST BAGS?
Street sign-ups are an important part of the process, especially if you plan to door knock!
They help us make sure two agents don’t accidentally select the same streets or knock on the same doors. They also help us order the correct number of sponsored bags and get them delivered to you on time.
Once you submit your streets, we’ll contact you within 24 hours ONLY if one of your streets has already been selected. If you don’t hear from us, you’re good to go!
We’ll update this page as soon as bag pick-up dates are available at your local Market Center.

Especially if you’re new to the Food Drive, we highly recommend attending one of our Food Drive Blueprint Classes! We’ll walk you through the process, help you build a simple plan, share what works, and answer your questions so you’re ready to make an impact. Choose one of three options: Thursday, Sept. 10 at 10AM – NWMC | Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 1PM – Zoom | Thursday, Sept. 17 at 10AM – SWMC.
