Morning Volunteer Group Session

Please arrive at Community First! Village on the morning of Red Day. We will not be meeting at the SWMC.

What to Expect

We recommend that volunteers wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and close toed shoes. We recommend bringing a hat, bug spray and sunscreen. Bring your own pair of gardening gloves if you have them. Bring your own water bottle and we will have water refills available.

About Community First! Village

Community First! Village is a 27-acre master planned community that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for the disabled, chronically homeless in Central Texas. A development of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, this transformative residential program exists to love and serve our neighbors who have been living on the streets, while also empowering the surrounding community into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.

The Village is a place that enables our homeless brothers and sisters to heal. It’s a place where they can rediscover hope, renew their purpose and restore their dignity. Most importantly, it’s a place they can call home.
